Registration

  • Monday, Aug. 25.

  • The late registration fee is $100 for returning students.

  • A hold blocks registration until you take specific action. For example, a Cash Management (CM) hold means you must resolve an outstanding balance.

  • Log in to Banner Self-Service > “Student” tab > “Student Registration.” Have your 5-digit Course Reference Number (CRN) ready.

  • Cash Management

    To settle previous balances or to remove a Cash Management hold, your account must have a zero balance.

    Payment plans for the Fall 2025 semester can be set up now. The payment plan schedule and setup information are available at https://mycollegepaymentplan.com/centralstate.

    Financial Aid

    Check your student portal to view your financial aid account. 

    If you have been approved for an alternative (private) student loan and it is not listed on the financial aid award, please contact the Office of Financial for further assistance.

    2. Register with the Student Account Center (SAC).

  • Early Move-In: For select organizations in August

    Upperclassmen/Grad Students: Aug. 22–23

    Complete the following before move-in:

    • Financial clearance with the Office of Cash Management and Office of Financial Aid
    • Registration for 12+ credit hours
    • Immunization records via MedProctor
  • Check your CSU email and visit centralstate.edu/movein-information for complete details or call Residence Life at 937-376-6107.

  • A week of events for first-time freshmen to connect, learn about CSU, and prepare for classes, ending with a Candlelight Ceremony on Sunday, Aug. 24.

Cash Management – Payment Plan

  • Yes, if financial aid doesn’t cover your full balance. Without full payment or a plan, you cannot move in or attend classes.

  • Central State partners with Nelnet to deduct monthly payments from your account or credit card and forward them to CSU.

  • No. Credit cards (Visa and MasterCard) are accepted but may include additional monthly fees.

    • Fall: 5-month (July–November) or 4-month (August–November) 
    • Spring: 5-month (December–April) or 4-month (January–April) 

    Plans must be set up each term. No summer payment plans are available.

  • $35 per term (Nelnet fee only).

  • On the first of each month. Plans cancel after two missed payments.

  • No. The summer term is too short to allow for a payment plan option.

  • No. Payments for deposits are to be made prior to student’s registration and paid directly to the University. You can pay online by going to https://mycollegepaymentplan.com/centralstate.

  • Contact Cash Management to update your plan. Failure to adjust may result in an unpaid balance.

  • Go to mycollegepaymentplan.com/centralstate and register with SAC. For help, call Nelnet at 800-609-8056 or Cash Management at 937-376-6343.
