The Ambassador

The Ambassador is a University-wide publication designed to keep students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, friends, and others informed about news and developments at Central State University. It features faculty news, student achievement, and partnerships.

  • The story of Central State University is one of perseverance and resilience, embodied by our students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Arguably, no event demonstrates the indomitable spirit of Central State better than the rebuilding after devastating tornadoes hit Xenia and Wilberforce on April 3, 1974.

    Learn How We Persevered

  • As we commemorate Women's History Month, we pay tribute to the contributions that women have made throughout history. Central State University, in particular, has been home to remarkable women who have left an indelible mark on the world. Despite their immense contributions, women have often been overlooked and denied the recognition they deserve. The theme of this Women's History Month is "The Women of CSU: She Inspires Greatness." It is an opportunity to reflect on the women who have shaped our lives. Let us take this moment to celebrate the countless women who have made the world a better place.

    See How They Inspire

  • Black History Month is here, and we're ready to celebrate the legacy and love we have for our very own HBCU. At Central State University, we can't get enough of the family vibes, the celebrations, the performances, and the epic Homecoming that are only possible at HBCUs. Our students and alumni agree — there is no place quite like Central State University. We've been asking around to find out what everyone loves about CSU, and the responses have been meaningful and mind-blowing. So, let's settle in to this month's edition of the Ambassador as we celebrate, explore, and honor the legacy and love we all have for Central State.
