This program has two components: academic and professional.

The academic component prepares students for graduate school by offering a variety of accepted courses. Central State graduates have gained admission to such graduate schools as Ohio State, Harvard, the University of Cincinnati, the University of Colorado, and Atlanta University.

The professional component program prepares students for practical training through internships in special agencies. These are important learning experiences for our majors.

Our students have worked in law firms, for the Greene County Sheriff's Department, and for congressional representatives and state legislators. Recent majors have developed their professional skills while earning money for their education in co-op jobs with such agencies as Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the General Accounting Office, and the Internal Revenue Service.
