Integrated Social Studies Education

Integrated Social Studies Education Program 

The Integrated Social Studies Education Program leads to the Bachelor of Science in Education Degree and prepares candidates to qualify for the Ohio license to teach Integrated Social Studies, grades 7 – 12.   

 

Courses of Study
In addition to general education and professional pedagogy, candidates are required to complete content courses in Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology and Geography, and Social Studies Practicum. A minimum of twelve to fifteen weeks of clinical experience through Student Teaching are required.
