Integrated Mathematics Education

Integrated Mathematics Education Program 

The Integrated Mathematics Education Program leads to the Bachelor of Science in Education Degree and prepares candidates to qualify for the Ohio license to teach Integrated Mathematics, grades 7 – 12.   

 

Courses of Study
In addition to general education and professional pedagogy, candidates are required to complete content courses in Computer Science, Probability & Statistics, Trigonometry, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Multivariate Calculus, Differential Equations, Algebraic Structures, Discrete Structures, and the History of Mathematics, Mathematics Methods Practicum. A minimum of twelve to fifteen weeks of clinical experience through Student Teaching are required.
