Central State University-Dayton to host Community Day on July 16

Central State University-Dayton invites the community to join in celebrating Community Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at the CSU-Dayton location, 840 Germantown St. This vibrant event promises a day of connection, opportunity, and celebration for families, friends, and neighbors of all ages.
Attendees will enjoy an exciting showcase of the best of Dayton and Central State University in one lively event space. Highlights include:
- Shop local: Discover and purchase unique goods from a variety of local vendors and artisans.
- Farmer’s Market: Browse fresh produce and homemade treats offered by local farmers and food creators.
- Mobile Health Unit: Access free health screenings and wellness resources provided by community partners.
- Admissions info: Learn about becoming a Marauder and explore opportunities at Ohio’s only public Historically Black College or University (HBCU) and 1890 Land-Grant Institution.
- Now hiring: Connect with Central State’s Human Resources team to learn about available career opportunities.
The event is designed to celebrate community while expanding access to education, wellness, and entrepreneurship. It is an opportunity for families and individuals from across Dayton and the surrounding region to come together for a day of fun and connection, while also learning about the important contributions Central State University makes to the region.
