April 6, 2023 — Central State University students and Fulbright Scholars from Liberia, Russia, Taiwan, Bahamas, Haiti, Gambia, Guatemala, and Tanzania represented their countries at the recent International Bazaar in the University’s Ward Center Ballroom.

Presenters, in pursuit of the International Honors designation, displayed and discussed stories, projects, food, traditions, and clothing of their home country or the country where their study-abroad experience occurred.

According to Central State Honors and International Student Advisor Dr. Theresa Aikens, the International Honors designation is one of the four Honors College offers for Honors students.

"Along with General Honors, Honors in the Major, and University Honors, the International Honors designation is reflected on the student's transcript and awarded with a medallion at graduation," she said.

"These students are so special and very accomplished," Aikens added.
