Join Central State University for the Convocation Speaker Series featuring Ohio State Representative Dontavius Jarrells on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, at 11 a.m.
The program will spotlight House Bill 848 and celebrate the historical contributions, academic excellence and resilience of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
The conversation will also highlight the vital role HBCUs continue to play in creating pathways to education, leadership and opportunity, with special recognition of Ohio’s own Central State University and its impact across the state and beyond.
