Join Andrea and John Hancock of Happy Wife Acres as they present Chicken Health Care, reviewing common chicken health issues and how to deal with them. Topics include bumblefoot, parasites, infections, coccidiosis, mycoplasma, egg bound, oviduct infection, peritonitis, ascites, and a homesteader’s first aid kit. Happy Wife Acres is an educational homestead focused on helping people become more self-sufficient and sustainable through videos, articles, apprenticeships, and in-person training. Happy Wife Acres raises chickens, ducks, guineas, rabbits, geese, and bees, and has been operating in the Fairborn community since 2017.
