  • The priority deadline is May 1, 2023, but we will accept deposits after this deadline.

  • The deadline for housing and immunizations will not be extended at this time. The deadline is July 1, 2023.

  • The Office of Admissions will accept unofficial copies for first-time freshmen students who send sixth- or seventh-semester transcripts. Therefore, you do not need an extension for your final high school transcripts.

  • First-time students must submit their final official high school transcript with a 2.2 GPA in order to be confirmed for registration no later than 2 weeks before the semester begins.

  • Yes, the Admissions processing team began reviewing applications for Fall 2023 on September 1st. The Office of Admissions’ processing time is normally between three to five weeks. We currently release application decisions once a month. 

  • We ask that you do not submit another application. After your application has been processed, contact the Office of Admissions to correct your information via email: admissions@centralstate.edu.

  • Allow 21 to 35 business days for processing.

    You will be notified by email, once you have been admitted from admissions@centralstate.edu. Be sure to check your junk inbox. If you still do not see an email, feel free to contact the Office of Admissions directly via email: admissions@centralstate.edu.

  • You may request information through our Request Info form.

If you are a first-year student on campus, or a transfer, readmit, international, or Central State Global online student, we are ready to welcome you as a Marauder. Apply today using our new, easy application process under Option 1. Use Option 2 if you are a transient student and Option 3 if you are a College Credit Plus, graduate, or non-degree-seeking student.

  • As for a transfer student, your official transcripts from your college or university must be submitted before an admissions decision is rendered on your application.

    Your transfer credits will apply to General Education requirements, or your major requirements depending on whether you attended an Ohio public college or university or an out-of-state public or private institution.
