A reminder that you will begin your courses next Monday, March 23, utilizing Schoology. You are required to sign in to your Schoology account and begin your instruction just like you would attend daily classes at the main campus. Your instructors will take attendance and keep a record as you continue to work on your readings, projects, assignments, and assessments that will secure the successful completion of this semester. If you have not received any instructions from your instructor, please contact the course instructor via email or through Schoology. After failed attempts, please contact the chairperson of the department.
In order to facilitate completing your work remotely, two of the largest internet providers in the USA are offering complimentary services for two months to students impacted by the coronavirus. Beginning March 16, 2020, Spectrum will make available to K-12 and college students internet services free for 60 days and will open hotspots for service. To enroll in the program, call 1-844-488-8395. Also, visit https://www.spectrum.com/browse/content/spectrum-internet-assist. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.
Comcast will also give complimentary internet essentials service for 60 days to new customers and will continue to provide a low-income household rate of $9.95 for new and existing customers.
To sign up, applicants can simply visit www.internetessentials.com. The accessible website also includes the option to video chat with customer service agents in American Sign Language. There are also two dedicated phone numbers 1-855-846-8376 for English and 1-855-765-6995 for Spanish. Below please find the links for free service:
