  • The Physical Science Education Program leads to a Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) and a license in education. 

  • The Political Science program offers a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Public Administration).

  • This program has two components: academic and professional. The academic component prepares students for graduate school by offering a variety of accepted courses.

    The Primary (PK-5) Education program leads to a Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) and a license in education. 

  • The College of Education consists of three departments: Professional Education, Agricultural Education and Food Science, and Health and Human Performance. The College offers Bachelor of Science degree programs that prepare candidates for teacher licensure and offers non-licensure BS degrees.

  • The psychology program is designed to provide students with a broad knowledge of the field of psychology. In addition to ensuring the development of professional skills, the program prepares students for graduate study in psychology or employment in the fields of mental health, social services, criminal justice, gerontology, education, and related areas.

Most social workers enter the profession because they want to help improve the well-being of people and society. It is an ideal career choice for those who care about social justice, human dignity, and working with diverse populations.

  • Sociology is the study of how society affects human behavior. Sociologists investigate the social causes and consequences of human behavior from political protests to the role of race in health care.

  • Sustainable Agriculture is an interdisciplinary major and overlaps some faculty and coursework with Agribusiness, Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Physics, Manufacturing Engineering, and Water Resources Management.

  • The Center now contains two academic programs that are interrelated– Environmental Engineering (ENE), and Water Resources Management (WRM). Students obtain baccalaureate degrees in these fields. It is now possible also to obtain a minor in Water Resources Management.
