Dwayne Daniel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fine and Performing Arts at Central State University. He holds an M.F.A. from Miami University and a BA from Central State University, both with an infuse on Graphic Design and Illustration. Dwayne is a two-dimensional artist with a range of expertise from drawing to graphic design.
His work has won top awards in several national art competitions. The University of Michigan, Phillips Academy in Andover Massachusetts and Central State University has exhibited his work solo. Dwayne has participated in group shows at the National AfroAmerican Museum in Wilberforce; Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago; Herndon Gallery at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio and several others.
Dwayne is currently teaching Graphic Design, Drawing and Art History courses at Central State University. He has developed and is nurturing relationships with the art magnet high schools in Dayton, Ohio. Dwayne is also revitalizing the advisory-board for the Art Department at Central State University.
