Center for Teaching and Learning

The Center for Teaching and Learning provides a range of support services to CSU faculty and staff. Funded partially through Title III, the Center for Teaching and Learning coordinates faculty involvement in learning communities; holds an annual faculty retreat; provides both pedagogically and technically related training and workshops; hosts Faculty Central (a site especially for CSU faculty); and manages the funding for faculty travel for faculty development.

The Center of Teaching and Learning acts as a hub of knowledge of effective, evidence-based practices as well as a convener of a campus community committed to teaching, learning, scholarship, and service. The Center for Teaching and Learning builds connections with and among Central State University faculty as individuals and in groups, understanding that relationships, evidence, and solutions are the vehicles by which teaching and learning are advanced. Collectively, faculty members’ deep backgrounds in their disciplines, pedagogy, technology, scholarship, service, and assessment allow us to bring the most effective tools and research into these conversations.
