The New Student Confirmation Fee covers fees for incoming Freshmen and Transfers:

  • Orientation and Matriculation Fee: $105
  • Room Key: $135*
  • Room Reservation: $60*

*Residential Students only

NOTE: Fees and deposits cannot be paid with financial aid funds and are non-refundable.

Central State University offers a number of scholarships and financial assistance packages to incoming freshmen and transfer students.

To become eligible for institutional aid, university program scholarships, and government financial assistance, you must complete your FREE Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by going to studentaid.gov.

Priority Deadline: December 1

If you are required to submit additional documents, please do so immediately. Details on what to submit can be found on Self Service.

To apply for the Federal PLUS Loan: studentloans.gov
For verification: centralstate.verifymyfafsa.com/account/login

After completing all financial assistance items and submitting your $105 New Student Confirmation Fee, you will receive a financial award letter within 14 business days and you will become eligible for an exclusive CSU welcome gift upon your arrival.

Step 3: Log into MyCSU and Check your Emails READ MORE read more

The MyCSU portal is your access to information on admissions, financial assistance, registration, classes, and special events.

MyCSU also includes your official Marauder email account. Check your emails at least once a week for important updates. You can access your MyCSU at CentralState.edu/mycsu.

With a MyCSU email address comes a variety of benefits, including discounted (and sometimes free) software, discounted subscriptions, and so much more!

Remember, you received your log in credentials in your acceptance letter.

Step 4: Complete Housing Application and Submit Health Records READ MORE read more

Living on campus is an essential component of your college experience through enhanced learning performances and countless opportunities to meet new people and develop lasting friendships.

Don't wait, complete your housing application today and get connected to your fellow Marauders.

Submit your $195 Housing Fee ($60 Room Reservation Fee and $135 Room Key) which is required to complete your application and room selection process.

You will not have access to the housing application if you have not confirmed your admission by paying your $105 New Student Confirmation Fee.

ALL New Student Confirmation fees and deposits are non-refundable. You will not have access to see the housing application until 24 hours after you have paid your New Student Confirmation Fee.


The housing application can be completed on Self Service. Students that would like to request each other as roommates will need to both list each other on their housing applications.

Submit your current physical and a copy of your immunization record from your physician to Central State University.


Please do not submit these items directly to the CSU Health and Wellness Center. Med+Proctor manages all of this.


How to Submit your Health Records

- Using your Central State University email address, register for your Med+Proctor account at medproctor.com (MyCSU username and @central.ces.edu)

- Complete your Central State University Med+Proctor profile.

- Download & print your Central State University Med+Proctor Immunization Certificate.

- Have your medical provider complete your immunization certificate and physical.

- Upload an image of your immunization certificate and physical into your Med+Proctor account.


Please check your MyCSU email once the file is loaded. You will receive your confirmation within 5 days. Med+Proctor is a free online service. You are not required to pay for the “Med+Proctor Pro” Service. This is a free service.

Save $1600! If you have health insurance coverage through a parent or legal guardian, you must complete an online waiver form indicating your insurance information.
