Office of Mentoring Programs

Central State University’s Office of Mentoring Programs works to enhance positive undergraduate student’s experiences. The mentoring program is to increase retention, persistence, and graduation rates among undergraduate students. The program is designed to help students develop relationships with their peers, faculty, staff, and administrators.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Office of Mentoring Programs is to help students build relationships that will positively enhance their academic, social, and emotional experiences here at Central State University. 

Primary Objectives
Our primary objectives include: 

     1) providing students with cogent strategies for successfully transitioning to collegiate environments,
     2) emphasizing students’ academic, social, and emotional development, and
     3) creating opportunities for students to make positive campus connections that establish a sense of belonging on campus.
