Philosophy

Central State University expects all members of the University community to share its commitment to academic honesty, personal integrity, and behavioral maturity. The basic philosophy and approach toward discipline at Central State University are one of education, focusing on student learning through individual growth and accountability of behavior.

Central State University Student Code of Conduct mission

The primary mission of the Office of Marauder Conduct and Community Standards is to support the larger missions of the University and the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment. This office seeks to promote student learning, growth, and development by increasing student awareness of the University’s expectations of behavior and collaboratively working with other departments in an effort to create a safe, secure, and civil environment conducive to learning. Additionally, the area exists to administer a fair student disciplinary process that adheres to prescribed standards.
