In addition to concurrent sessions for adults, there will be a children's conference for ages 5-12.
This annual gathering explores the intersection of science and practice, featuring cutting-edge research, hands-on workshops, and real-world solutions tailored to the challenges and opportunities of urban and small-scale farming.
We invite farmers of any size farms, in urban or rural areas, to attend the conference to connect with other farmers, researchers, USDA agencies, and others. They are invited to be part of the discussion and to provide insight for local food systems.
Conference Highlights include:
- Concurrent sessions for adults and a children’s conference for ages 5–12.

This conference is offered at no cost to farmers as part of the USDA 2501 grant, which provides professional development opportunities for underserved farmers. The conference is open to any Ohio farmer who is interested in attending.
