Welcome! We are excited about helping you make a successful transition to Central State University.

Each year, the Office of Admissions hosts in-person and virtual Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) events to introduce you to our programs and support services. This is an in-person event.

What to expect

  • You will receive assistance with completing your SOAR checklist: housing application, course scheduling, financial aid requirements, setting up a payment plan, and more.
  • Members of the Financial Aid Department will share the most recent updates on the status of financial aid eligibility.
  • You will receive your class schedule, Marauder Card, and a free T-shirt.
  • Take part in a campus tour, learn about campus resources available to students, meet incoming freshmen, and more.
