Join us for a Grafting Heirloom Tomato Workshop from 6:30-8 p.m. May 23 at Central State University-Xenia. Michelle Wallace, northwest Ohio Agriculture and Natural Resource Extension educator, will lead the session.
In this workshop, participants will learn the following:
— Advantages of using grafted plants in your production system
— How to graft the scions onto the rootstock
— How to heal the grafted plants in a growing chamber
— What materials to use to graft plants and which rootstock varieties are recommended
Participants will get hands-on experience.
