After we have all the required documents, we will issue a decision within 14-21 business days.
    • Note: After an applicant’s file is assigned to an online team member, official transcripts and other documents are processed, indexed, and attached to the file within 14-21 business days if all official documents have been received by CSU.
  • Step 2: Transfer credit evaluation. We will receive and evaluate all transcripts within 30-60 business days.

Undergraduate online admissions

The student must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.2 on a 4.0 scale from all previously attended institutions and a minimum of 45 college credit hours.

Students who have been dismissed from previous institutions within the last 12 months will not be considered for admission to Central State University. If a student has not earned a minimum of 45 credit hours, they will be required to submit their high school transcript and their GPA will be considered for admission.

All official transcripts from all previously attended institutions must be submitted to Central State University. A prior enrollment history review is completed on each applicant to identify all previously attended institutions. If an institution is listed on your checklist but you did not attend that institution, an official letter of non-attendance must be submitted to Central State from an officially authorized officer (Registrar, etc.) of that institution. Transcripts can be emailed directly to Central State at admissions@centralstate.edu or by postal mail to:

Central State University
Office of Online Admissions — Transcripts
PO Box 1004
Wilberforce, OH 45384

Official transcripts must come directly from the institution in a sealed envelope. For institutions that have closed, please contact the state Department of Education where the institution is located to retrieve official transcripts.

IMPORTANT: After you apply to CSU, please remember to download the Central State Global application document checklist, add your official transcript order information, and then upload it to your application checklist. Our online admissions team will use this document to help research and process your official transcripts to promptly complete your file to render a decision within 14-21 business days.

Graduate online enrollment

The graduate student admissions process consists of three steps in helping students enroll in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) graduate program.

Step 1: Application and acceptance to CSU. The graduate application and enrollment process includes completion and submission of our online application, the Graduate Document Checklist, official transcript(s) with degree conferred, a current resume, a letter of intent, recommendation letters, and other required documentation to complete the applicant’s file.

Step 2: Graduate school (MBA) committee review. The graduate school (MBA) committee will review the completed file to render a final decision. A decision is rendered within 14-21 business days.

Step 3: Course registration, orientation, and onboarding. If accepted to CSU, the graduate advising department will schedule and conduct a registration to help students register for courses as post-baccalaureate or graduate students.

Graduate online admissions

Global online graduate student applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree in business from a regionally accredited institution and a GPA of 3.0. Prospective applicants without a degree in business must complete the prerequisites for entering the graduate program.

The GMAT standardized test is required and waived for applicants with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. After completing the Global online application, additional documents are needed to complete your application file for review and evaluation. Download the Graduate Application Document Checklist and follow the instructions to submit your required documentation. You can also download additional admissions requirements and the Student Handbook.

Official transcripts and other required documents can be sent to graduateadmission@centralstate.edu.

Note: All steps are subject to staff availability and business days.
