New Student Orientation is now SOAR
Welcome Class of 2017!
New Student Orientation (NSO) is a full-day event which is the beginning of your life at Central State University! The day will begin at 8:00 a.m. with registration and end at 4:00 p.m. NSO is important to your successful transition to college.
You will be able to register for fall classes, secure your housing and meet other in your class! You will also be able to take care of the fees and tuition process without standing in long lines! Your parents will also have the opportunity to learn more about Central State University. Campus housing and classes are filling up fast, so don’t delay!

This is an exciting time for you and your family as your child begins his/her college adventure! We have intentionally designed separate orientation schedules for you and your child. You will have the opportunity to meet with the leadership of the University, talk to staff, faculty and other parents, as well as ask those important questions.
This program is designed to allow both you and your son/daughter to begin the transition to college.
