You have completed high school and earned a diploma or have a GED and you have not attempted coursework at an accredited college or university. The following procedures must be met to be considered for admission as a new freshman:
Direct from High School:
Preferred GPA 2.5 and above, regardless of test score will receive full admission to Central State University. (For consideration of scholarship the minimum GPA is 2.7).
Scholarship criteria will vary by program and may include as a qualification the submission of a test score (ACT or SAT). A minimum ACT test score of 21 is required for most (could be higher), along with a specific grade point average and other supportive documentation.
Minimum GPA for admission consideration: 2.2
A student with a GED will be reviewed for a passing score. Score varies per state.
