Dear Marauder Family,
Central State University is committed to providing a safe campus environment for students, faculty and staff. Our campus safety initiatives are supported by our Public Safety staff and other numerous individuals on a daily basis; however, the success of our safety initiatives can only be achieved through the cooperation and participation of all members of our campus community. We must collaborate with a commitment to assure the safeguarding of our campus. As we start the spring semester in January, please be aware that you will see a heightened presence of Public Safety staff throughout the campus. Also, we will begin using Hyper-Reach, our new emergency notification system.
Hyper-Reach replaces Leader Alert, and enables us to communicate via a more comprehensive emergency notification system. This new system will not only provide emergency notices within campus but also throughout the county and surrounding area. In the upcoming weeks, you will begin to receive more information about Hyper-Reach and how to ensure that you are registered.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and spirit of teamwork as we work together to keep the campus of Central State University safe.
