Dear Central State Student,

The goal of the Federal Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) is to lessen students’ financial burden during the COVID-19 pandemic (Guidelines for Student Aid). Central State University used our HEERF funding to make the CSU Spring 2021 Federal Stimulus Emergency Cash Grants available to all students. Funds have been disbursed to eligible students who applied.  Based on the preference stated in your application form, funds were either released as a direct payment to you or applied to your student account.
Central State University awarded this special emergency aid based on a student’s family income and costs of attending the university. Grant awards to eligible students were disbursed as follows:

CSU Traditional Students Amount
   Pell Eligible, on-campus resident $1,000
   Pell Eligible, off-campus $   750
   No Pell, on-campus resident $   500
   No Pell, off-campus $   250

Career Plus Students Amount
