Maintaining Marauders Advocates

First-Year Advocates

• Work with the Student Success & Retention Specialists
• Help first-year students navigate the campus (finding the library, cafeteria, advisors, etc.)
• Host social activities such as creating vision boards, mixers, etc.

Maintaining Marauders Advocates

• Students represent various student groups they are athletes, honor students, and students that have successfully transitioned off Academic Probation
• Assist with students struggling academically after the first Interim grading period
• Help with time management, tutoring referrals, etc.
• Assist the Office of Retention & First-Year Experience to make sure first-year students keep appointments
