Investing in Your Future

In order to ensure your registration for fall, you must make financial arrangements. Making financial arrangements means accepting your financial aid award, which can be done via MyCSU or by calling the Office of Student Financial Aid at 937-376-6579. Making financial arrangements also means securing funds to cover the gap between your financial aid award and the costs - - tuition, room, and board. For many, that includes the following options:

Parent Plus Loan

This is a credit-based loan that the student's parent may apply for to cover the remaining educational costs.

Private Loan

This is a credit-based loan that the student may apply for to cover the remaining educational costs. Often times the student will need a credit-worthy co-signer.

Payment Plan

The student or parent may sign up for the university payment plan through the Office of Cash Management which will spread the balance due over the school year. For additional information or to sign-up for the payment plan, contact the Office of Cash Management at 937-376-6343.

Out-of-Pocket

The Office of Cash Management accepts cash, cashiers check, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, or DISCOVER.

Of course, engaging in realistic financial planning and setting financial priorities is important when thinking about the making the investment in pursuing your college education. Therefore, remember that securing summer and/or campus employment are two ways to help cover monthly payment plan payments and/or out-of-pocket payments to the University. Scholarships are also available from both internal and external funding sources for qualified students.
