STUDENT FINANCIAL AID
The Office of Student Financial Aid is committed to identifying
institutional, state, and federal resources to assist you in fulfilling
your educational goals. Awards are made for merit-based and need-based
aid in the form of scholarships, grants, work-study, and loans.
All students are encouraged to apply for financial aid, regardless
of their family’s financial situation.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be completed
as early as January 1, 2005. Because some aid programs are awarded
on a first-come, first-served basis, an early application receives
priority consideration. The priority deadline is February 15 for
new students and March 1 for continuing students. You will need
to list CSU’s Title IV Code (003026) when filling out the
FAFSA so that the Student Financial Aid Office receives your information.
Also, remember that applying for financial aid is an annual process.
For speedy processing of the FAFSA application, students are encouraged
to
apply on-line. The web address is www.fafsa.ed.gov.
A financial aid representative is available to assist you Monday
- Friday between the hours of 8:00 - 5:00.
