About Residual testing:

This test can be taken in place of the ACT test or SAT test.

The scores will be used only by CSU, for admissions and placement.

The cost is $39 to be paid on the test day in the form of Cash or Money Order ONLY.

(Please note we will not accept any other form of payment.)

Future Test Dates

• All Residual Testing begins at 9 am and will be completed by 2:30pm.
• If students have not confirmed by the scheduled day, students will be asked to take the next Residual or National test.

Where: Central State University Wesley Hall Room 112

Guidelines for taking the ACT Residual Test:

1. Report at the time designated by testing personnel. You will not be admitted if you are late.
2. Take the following items with you:
1. ID and letter of identification on school letterhead signed by you and your advisor/counselor.
2. Sharpened, soft lead No. 2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)
3. Money order or Cash to pay for the test. 
4. You are permitted to use a calculator on the test.  The testing center will NOT provide calculators for you.  The following calculators are PROHIBITED:

• Texas Instruments: TI-89 or TI-92 (or any related models)
• Hewlett-Packard: hp48GII, hp40G or hp49G (or any related models)
• Casio: Algebra fx2.0, ClassPad 300, and CFX-9970G (or any related models)

1. Do NOT bring with you:
1. books, dictionaries, notes, scratch paper, or other aides
2. highlighters, colored pens or pencils, or correction fluid
3. any electronic devise other than permitted calculators (NO CELL PHONES)
4. reading material
5. food or drink

Note:  You must have with you on test day: a photo id and a letter of identification on school letterhead signed by you and your advisor/counselor.
