  Central State University & Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. partner for Leadership Conference

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Chi Lambda Chapter, Wilberforce, Ohio, will host the 2008 Midwestern Leadership Development and Citizenship Education Institute on June 27-29.   Invited participants are males ages 13-17, registered participants traveling from Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Ohio. Discussion topics include: Leadership Education (Skills Development, Conflict Resolution, How to conduct a Meeting, Identifying African American Male Leadership), Career Development (College Planning, Interviewing,) Civic Responsibility (Voting, Community Engagement, and Cultural Awareness), Social Responsibility (Social Etiquette (Dining), Dressing for Success), and Spiritual Development.   This is a weekend residential program.  For additional information contact Dr. Willie Houston, Jr., Central State University, 937-376-6631 or Ms. Kinya McBeth at 937-376-6637.
