Alumni Affairs
We first want to start by saying "Thank
You" for your continuous support of the Alumni Office
and Central State University. It is through your efforts the
University as well as the General Alumni Association, are
better able to serve the students and alumni.
Under the leadership of our President, John W. Garland '71, the future plans for Central State University will be more diverse and challenging than ever before and it is hoped that all alumni will take on an active role.
We strongly encourage each Alumnus to reach out and help another Alum become more involved with his or her local Alumni Chapter as well as the National Alumni Association. We need all Alums to serve as ambassadors, such as assisting CSU Representatives at College Fairs, encouraging businesses, churches, and social and civic groups likewise to support Central State University in anyway possible.
Institutional Advancement
The Office of Institutional Advancement serves
as the coordinating unit for all University fund and friend
raising initiatives. Our objective is to support the mission,
financial requirements and planned growth of the University.
The funds raised provide scholarships and financial aid for
our students; support for faculty; support for new programs
and support to enhance existing programs. We work with the Central
State University Foundation to garner long-term gift support
from alumni, friends, corporations and foundations. Our goals
are to maximize endowed funds and increase current year support.
Efforts undertaken to achieve these goals are determined by
the funding priorities as set by the University's administrators.
