A Nominating Committee of three or more persons shall be selected by the Board of Directors, one of who shall be a member of the Board.
Officers and Board members shall be financial members of The Association.
Nominations may be made by any Chapter or member(s) of The Association, to the Nominating Committee.
The Nominating Committee shall submit at least one name for each office to be filled.
A person can only serve in one capacity and the nominating Committee shall slate an individual to only one office/position.
Nominations must be postmarked no later than January 31st of the election year.
Section 2. Election
The names and pictures of those nominated, along with ballots, shall be prepared by the Director of Alumni Relations and mailed to every voting member at least thirty days before the Annual Meeting with suitable return envelopes to ensure a secret ballot.
Such ballots shall be marked by the member and returned to the office
of the Director of Alumni Relations.
The Director of Alumni Relations shall deliver the sealed ballots to a Tellers Committee of three or more appointed by the president.
The Tellers Committee shall tabulate the ballots and report the results
at the Annual Meeting of The Association.
