Job Description:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work with the co-chairs of the SAEM Steering Committee to establish action plans and timelines related to Central State University’s growth in size and quality.
· Develop and maintain an efficient, reliable and accurate assessment system to track the University’s progress in meeting SAEM goals.
· Develop, nurture and maintain collaborations and partnerships among University departments and divisions necessary to achieve SAEM goals.
· Develop, nurture and maintain collaborations and partnerships between the University and other education institutions in support of SAEM goals.
· Serve as a campus contact person for activities related to the Speed-to-Scale Plan jointly developed by CSU, five partner colleges and universities, and the Ohio Board of Regents.
· Work with committees and function groups as appropriate to carry out activities designed to achieve the priorities of the SAEM Steering Committee.
· Provide regular reports to the SAEM Steering Committee on progress and challenges facing the University in meeting SAEM goals.
· Develop and implement an effective communication plan to involve internal and external stakeholders in achievement of SAEM goals.
· Serve on campus and state-level committees as necessary to advance the University’s SAEM agenda.
· Provide regular updates on information, actions and changes for inclusion in the University’s SAEM Plan.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Master’s degree and a minimum of three years experience in academic administration
· Ability to work with diverse campus constituencies
· Superior organizational skills.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
· Knowledge of the Banner Information System and/or the ability to master complex information and data retrieval systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Doctoral degree with experience leading enrollment growth initiatives and/or efforts to strengthen academic quality at the University level.
· Understanding of production of print and electronic brochures and other information materials.
· Familiarity with the structure of Ohio’s higher education system.
