DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Teach mathematics courses. Mathematics Education core courses.

·        Build on existing strengths in teaching, research, and service.

·        Manage, organize, and recruit faculty, staff, and students.

·        Conduct program review and development.

·        Evaluate faculty and staff.

·        Advise and counsel students.

·        Provide leadership to the department.

QUALIFYING FACTORS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

·        Ability to teach higher level Mathematics

·        Ability to use technology in instruction and student advising

·        Administrative experience preferred

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Education:  Ph.D. in Mathematics or related field

·        Preferred Experience:  Significant academic experience is required.
