Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Participate with the Vice President in planning, strategic direction, and stewardship activities related to ongoing developmental goals and other duties as assigned
-
Assist in establishing departmental goals and objectives and evaluate work performance in conjunction with the Vice President (of allowable activities, specifically, Alumni Affairs, Public Relations, and Annual Fund).

Manage Institutional Advancements Title III grant including preparation of all reports and attending Title III meetings.

Work specifically with CSU foundation to manage and monitor the foundation accounting system.

Work specifically with the Career Services department to develop the corporate partners program.

Work specifically with the Vice President to manage Institutional Advancements Budget.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
-
Have an understanding of and commitment to the mission of the university.
-
Have a minimum of a Masters degree.
-
Ten progressive years of management experience; familiarity with managing the functional areas of Institutional Advancement.

Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Experience in budgeting and strategic business planning.
-
High level of communication, organizational and management skills.
-
Demonstrated ability to motivate staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Proficient in report preparation.
REQUIREMENTS
· Masters degree with at least ten years experience working in an educational institution.
· At least ten years experience in educational management and supervision.
· Demonstrated work experience in higher education and familiarity with Institutional Advancement.
