At CSU, we offer a variety of class types including online classes. You can learn in the comfort of your own home and forget about the drive to campus. Work at your own pace and in your own time while having the opportunity to better balance other life challenges.

If you are self-motivated, independent learner looking for a way to further your education online courses allow you to complete all course requirements without going to campus.

All courses available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Online Learning

*Computer literacy and Internet know-how are the employability skill of the 21st century. Your comfort with electronic tools can make or break your chances at future employment.

Central State University uses Blackboard for learning.

Online –– the course is only online and you never meet face-to-face with your instructor or classmates. All course content and communication is done through Blackboard (Bb).

Hybrid –– the course is held both online and in the classroom. The amount of time spent in each area, is determined by the instructor or Dean of the College.

Web-enhanced –– when Blackboard is used in the face-to-face classroom but class materials, grades, and some discussions may take place or be available online.

Online courses are very different from the traditional class, you must have the self-discipline to log into the online course at least three different days a week, even though everyday is recommended if you really want to excel. You must participate in the discussion forums and turn in all assignments on the stated due date.
