Gabrielle Ruffin

Ambitious. Genuine. Humble. Gregarious. These are just a few attributes that describe Gabrielle Ruffin. This 22 year old Central State University graduate is so full of life and has already begun blazing the trail to share her light with the rest of the world. Gabrielle joined the Marauder family in the fall of 2008 as a first generation college student. Throughout her matriculation at Central State she fulfilled many leadership positions;some of her more prominent roles include Miss Black & Gold, Student Government Association Chief Justice, and the 2011-2012 Miss Central State University. Miss Ruffin was also a member of the Grammy Nominated Central State University Chorus with whom she traveled abroad to China. Affectionately known as Gabby on campus, this young lady never let her social and leadership responsibilities cause her academic standards to waiver. On May 5, 2012 Gabby graduated Summa Cum Laude with her degree in Business Administration concentrated in Marketing. Currently Miss Ruffin is a Business Analyst in the Marketing Department at Ford Motor Company located in Dearborn, MI. While back in Michigan, Gabrielle also participates in various roles at her church home, Greater Emmanuel Institutional COGIC. Most recently the former Miss CSU hasbegun focusing all of her attention to preparing for her greatest challenge and accomplishment yet, the Miss Michigan, USA pageant. The pageant is set to take place in September 2013.
