Your Event Sitters, LLC

Ellen Cavanaugh, founder and Chief Entertainment Officer of Your Event Sitters, LLC, founded the organization in February 2011. She is CPR/First Aid and AED certified. Ellen worked at AT&T for 32 years and has an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. She retired in August 2010 to pursue her passion of working with children.

Ellen has two adult children and five grandchildren. She volunteered as an English/Reading tutor for Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN and was a Substitute Teacher for grades K-7 in the Indianapolis school district. Ellen relocated to Ohio from Indiana to care for her youngest grandchild while her daughter, Angela Parker, works full time.

Through Ellen's experiences with her family and children in the school system, her love for children has grown into the desire to go into the event sitting business and impact the lives of children during events in the MidWest.

Angela Parker, Chief Fun Officer, currently works as a tax consultant for Brixey & Meyer. She graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting. Angela is a mother of two and ½ children, a 12 year old daughter, a 2 year old son, and has another son on the way.

She has a vast experience working with children and is CPR/First Aid/AED certified. She volunteers as an all-subject tutor at her church home in Cincinnati. She has been a tutor for over 15 years. In addition, she worked with the English as a Second Language at Butler University and was a mentor for the College Mentor for Kids program.
