Central State Athletics Well Represented at Graduation
The 2008 graduating class of Central State University saw over 40 student-athletes walk across the stage to receive their diplomas. These student-athletes represented 20 percent of the graduates.

Christopher Clark, a member of the football team received honors as the Class Scholar with the highest GPA amongst the graduating class. Clark graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Marauders Men’s Basketball Sign Two Top Thirty Recruits
Central State University men’s basketball program has announced the signing of two of the top 30 players in the state of Ohio High School Basketball. Coach Doug Lewis signed Cole Prophet (Sandusky H.S.) and Lee Tabb Jr. (Toledo Rogers H.S.) Prophet is a 5’5 point guard (22 ppg& 8 apg) who was 1st Team All District and All Northwest Ohio and Special Mention All Ohio Division I. Tabb is a 6’9 forward who averaged 15 points and 15 rebounds per game

Walk On Tennis Player Leads Lady Marauders
When Brandy Stewart showed up at CSU Tennis Coach Donte Jackson’s door he did not know the pleasant surprise that was coming to him. Not only did Brandy soon become his number one singles player she also teamed up to be part of his number one doubles tandem.

Two Central State Championship Hoop Teams Inducted into Hall of Fame
The Central State University 1965 and 1968 NAIA National Men’s Basketball Championship teams will be inducted into the State of Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame on May 17, 2008.
