CSU's Franklin Named GLFC Defensive Player of the Week

Senior defensive back Jeff Franklin a 5’8” safety from Chicago, IL earned Great Lakes Football Conference recognition as Defensive Player of the Week.  Franklin had 6 tackles including 2 for a loss along with an interception which he returned 14 yards.  The Central State University Marauder football team lost to the University of Dayton flyers in the Dayton Classic IV on Sunday August, 31, 2008 at Welcome Stadium in Dayton.

            Daniel Stover a Marauder 6’1” senior wide receiver who had 5 receptions for 98 yards and a touchdown was in the running for Offensive Player of the week.
