Central State University men’s basketball program has announced the signing of two of the top 30 players in the state of Ohio High School Basketball.  Coach Doug Lewis signed Cole Prophet (Sandusky H.S.) and Lee Tabb Jr. (Toledo Rogers H.S.)  Prophet is a 5’5 point guard (22 ppg& 8 apg) who was 1^st Team All District and All Northwest Ohio and Special Mention All Ohio Division I.  Tabb is a 6’9 forward who averaged 15 points and 15 rebounds per game.  “I believe these two players are the cornerstone for our success the next four years, “Lewis said.   “Coach Jackson has done a great job of recruiting two of the top high school players in the state of Ohio .  We feel both gentlemen will contribute a great deal to our program.”

            The Marauders who finished the 2007-2008 season with a record of 21-5 will be entering their first season as a full member of the NCAA Division II and will be eligible for NCAA Post Season Competition, being included in the NCAA stats and rankings.
