As Director of the Title III program at Central State University, I am pleased to introduce you to our new online presence. I hope you will visit the site often, whether you are a member of our campus community, a prospective student or parent, or a citizen interested in learning more about how your state and federal tax dollars benefit CSU students and the greater Miami Valley. Here you’ll find information on the policies and procedures that guide Title III, as well as news and information about the good work that is being done on campus through this vital resource.
Our current issue features updates on two of the three programs that fall under Activity 4 of the 2007-2008 grant, K-16 Higher Education Access. These outreach efforts are building vibrant community partnerships while assisting K-12 students in honing the skills and nurturing the creativity they need for academic success. I’m excited to share them with you. The third program, the W.E.B. DuBois Talented Tenth Academy, led by Activity Coordinator Dr. Kaye Jeter, will be held this summer, so look for more updates in the future.
Again, I welcome you, and invite you to
contact the Title III Office with any questions or
feedback you might have.
