Central State University will conduct a four week summer bridge program for incoming freshmen at Central State University in a collaborative effort with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).

Summer Transportation Institute (STI)
June 22, 2008 to July 18, 2008

The Summer Transportation Institute (STI) is designed to introduce high school students to the various facets of transportation. STI participants will be exposed to Highway Formation, Traffic Control, Air Transportation, Space Travel, Water Transportation and Renewable Energy in transportation. All this combined with living on a college campus, meeting new friends and having fun.

Welcome to the Center for Student Opportunities web page of Central State University.  The mission of the Center is to develop opportunities for students to gain academic and career advancement by providing:

  • Summer bridge programs

The Center for Student Opportunities also offers graduate school test taking preparation (GRE, GMAT, LSAT), seminars and exposure to web resources. 

If you wish to discuss circumstances and options related to your individual needs with a member of our staff, we are available to speak with you on a one-on-one basis by stopping by the Center anytime during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
