TRIO/Student Support Services (SSS) provides eligible students an environment of support and encouragement from entry to exit as you matriculate through Central State University toward graduation.

SSS has something for everyone! Advising, advocacy, and tutoring -- core program services; honor society membership; leadership skills development; workshops; grad school visits, scholarships; and cultural events. Freshmen get what they need; seniors do too!

Eligibility Criteria -- meet at least one of the following:

  • Be a first generation college student; i.e., your parent(s) or guardians don’t have a bachelor’s degree.

  • Have family income that falls within a qualifying range (see an SSS advisor for more details).

  • Have a documented physical or learning disability that impedes your academic success.
