The IUE Clearinghouse
The purpose of the Clearinghouse is to develop and disseminate knowledge about effective teaching in an urban school setting. The Clearinghouse is a resource to educators, providing information and materials for teachers, counselors and administrators in Ohio’s urban schools. Institute faculty and staff will work close in collaboration with Ohio’s urban school superintendents to determine a research and service agenda, which serves the needs of their teachers, counselors and administrators. Faculty from other Ohio universities and master teachers from urban school districts are encouraged to participate in the teaching, research and service programs of the experts in urban education. The proceedings from these efforts can be found on this website. National experts in urban education have been and will be invited to conduct seminars and workshops and to contribute to the Institute.
