Attending Central State University and majoring in Environmental Engineering thoroughly prepared for taking this position. By taking such courses as Environmental Law, Water Chemistry, and Soil and Water Pollution Control allowed me to have the knowledge needed to monitor and implement programs that would ensure our company does not create any potential hazards to the environment. Also, it allowed me to gain experience with dealing with both state and federal regulations, with this familiarity I was able to easily ascertain what we as a company needed to accomplish in order to comply with OSHA, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 regulations.
