Job opportunities are almost limitless in chemistry, and well-trained chemists are in high demand by the chemical industry and the teaching professions. In fact, the number of job opportunities available to Central State University chemistry students greatly exceeds the number of majors. In industry starting salaries typically range from $32,000-$40,000. Many chemistry majors also use this undergraduate degree as a step into medicine and other health care professions.
