3 and 2-year, on campus, Active Duty and 3 and 2-year Reserve Component scholarships are also available at Central State University. The minimum eligibility requirements for on-campus scholarships include:

  • Cadets must be enrolled in Army ROTC for at least one semester
  • Students must have a 2.75 cumulative GPA or higher
  • Applicants must complete a medical examination
  • Cadets must complete a scholarship interview
  • Students must be U.S. citizens and cannot have dual citizenship
  • No civil convictions or drug use charges
  • Cadets must pass the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) before contracting
  • Cadets must be under 31 years of age at time of commissioning
