SFC Greene enlisted into the Army November, 21 1990 in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Basic Combat Training at C Battery 1st Battalion 79th Field Artillery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He then attended 13F, Fire Support training at B Battery 5th Training Battalion, Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

SFC Greene has held avariety of duty positions to include Fire Support Specialist, Company Fire Support Sergeant, Battalion Fire Support Sergeant, Brigade Fire Support Sergeant, 101st ABN Division Fire Support Sergeant, III Corp Fire Support Sergeant, and has been deployed numerous of times with the 101st Infantry Division (Assault), 3rd Infantry Division, and the 10th Mountain Infantry Division, and 214th Fires Brigade.

SFC Greene units of assignment include 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Headquarters Headquarters Battery 1st Battalion 320th Field Artillery, Panama; Headquarters Headquarters Battery 1st Battalion 320th Field Artillery, Fort Campbell, Kentucky;
Headquarters Headquarters Battery 2ID Divarty, Camp Stanley, Korea; Headquarters Headquarters Service 1st Battalion 38th Field Artillery, Camp Stanley Korea; III Corp Artillery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma; 231st Target Acquisition Detachment, Fort Sill, Oklahoma; Headquarters Headquarters Battery 214th Fires Brigade, Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

His awards include the Bronze Star Medal 2nd Award), Army Commendation Medal (3rd Award), Army Achievement Medal (4th Award), Army Good Conduct Medal (5th Award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd Bronze Star), Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 3), Overseas Ribbon (2nd Award), Air Assault Badge, Driver’s Badge, and a recipient of the prestigious Saint Barbara Award.

SFC Greene is a Graduate of the Warrior Leaders Course, Basic Non Commissioned Officers Course, Advanced Non Commissioned Officers Course, Command Post of the Future Course, Joint Development of Common Standards Course, Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, Jungle Warfare School, Ranger Indoctrination Program, Combat Lifesavers Course, and Air Assault Course. He is pursuing a degree in Business from Central State University.

SFC Greene currently resides in Dayton, Ohio with his wife Buffy and daughters Candice and LaShondra.
