Mr. Lecaros (LTC retired) received a Bachelor’s degree inPolitical Science from the University of Illinois At Chicago in 1986 and a
Master’s degree in Public Administration from the governor’s State University at University Park, IL in 1995.

Mr. Lecaros has attended the Transportation Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the Combined Arms and Services Staff School, and the Command and General Staff College.

His previous assignments include Assistant Professor of Military Science as the Recruiting and Operations Office and the Training Officer at Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo, CA;  ODT Manager in the Republic of Korea; Deputy Training Developer at the Training Development Division at the Army Reserves Readiness Training Center (ARRTC), Fort McCoy, Wisconsin;  Assistant Professor of Military Science, as the Battalion Training Officer at Wright State University in Ohio; Executive Officer at 1/356 Logistical Support Battalion, Fort Lewis, WA; Instructor at the Army Reserves Readiness Center (ARRTC), Movement Officer course, Fort McCoy, WI; Battalion S-3,  457th
Transportation Battalion, Fort Snelling, MN;  Company Executive Officer at the 378th Chemical Company, Urbana, IL, Platoon Leader 379 Chemical Company, Chicago, IL

Additional accomplishments include certificate in Joint Strategic Training Planning, Instructor Training, Master Fitness Trainer, Air load Planner, Global Command and Control Operating System, Defense Packaging of Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Materials Transportation.

LTC Lecaros has earned the Meritorious Service Medal (3) the Army Commendation Medal (2), National defense Service Medal (2), Global War on Terrorism,, Service Medal,, Korea Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Parachutist Badge and Air Assault Badge.
